This is the third (and so far, the best) book I've purchased and read from Joseph P. Farrell, and I would unequivocally rate the content and analysis at five stars. I won't rehash a synopsis of the book as that's available in the online description, but I will state that the primary strengths of this book are: 1.) its use of the same original source materials used by those favoring an ET-Hypothesis for the Roswell event as well as by those in the "Skeptic" camp; 2.) an extremely well organized outline of presentation mapped out in the book's table of contents and steadily unveiled in like manner throughout the text of the book. (The outline alone could serve as an excellent example for undergraduate or post-graduate students seeking a model for a well-presented thesis!); 3.) a conversational writing style that is easily understandable and that steadily advances the author's arguments in an enjoyable, "let's-think-our-way-through-the-facts"-type manner; and 4.) just enough photographs and illustrations to help the reader understand "who's who" and to visually grasp the author's points. Furthermore, the book is very well documented through referential and explanatory footnotes - easily enabling the reader to check the accuracy of the citations should he/she so choose. I'm presently about a quarter of the way through the book, and it is definitely a page-turner that will hold your attention and keep you up late reading "just a few more pages" before it dawns on you that you'd best put it down for the night and get rested for the workday tomorrow.
My only complaint about the book is the editing - or should I say, lack of thorough editing - that has allowed too many typos to find their way into the published version, and in one instance, the omission of an entire section of a long citation from an outside source. This is the fault of the publisher, and a scan of reviews of other books published by this company will readily show this is not an isolated problem. I hope someone from Adventures Unlimited Press who's in a position of responsibility reads this review (as well as those written by others highlighting this same problem) and resolves to correct this problem. Dr. Farrell has written far too important a book as to have its content somewhat marginalized through shoddy editing. C'mon folks, it's not rocket science; hire someone who knows how to both spell and validate the thoroughness/alignment of footnotes with citations to actually READ the product before you put it out for sale!
Do I agree with Dr. Farrell's ultimate conclusion? To an extent perhaps; it's just too early to tell. I will readily say that I'm not in the camp of the "Skeptics", but I will also note that many in the "Extraterrestrial origins" camp often make significant leaps in logic, and appear to want to let their paradigm interpret the evidence, instead of letting the evidence frame their paradigm. At this point in the book, I would find myself somewhere between Dr. Farrell's view (that a post-war, extra-territorial Nazi presence in South America is responsible for what crashed in Roswell); those that state it's extra-terrestrial in origin; and those that posit an "inter-dimensional" perspective. But I will reserve final judgment until I've finished reading the entire book. However, regardless of whether or not I change my view as to the ultimate nature of the Roswell event, I will say that as a direct result of what I've read thus far, I've already learned a great deal by "stepping back" - as Dr. Farrell has done - and "re-viewing" the source documents for what they SAY/DON'T SAY ON THEIR OWN (vs. what the two currently prevailing perspectives interpret them to say), and I believe anyone interested in this incident would find this to be true as well. Meticulously researched; cogently argued; convincingly presented. I strongly recommend this book as a worthy read and addition to your library - whether you're a believer, skeptic, or just someone who's curious as to "what this Roswell thing's all about".

Joseph Farrell is the best researcher out there right now. He creates the lead that the rest of us must follow. This book continues his jaw dropping thesis concerning advanced German technology and the purposeful cover-up of these extraordinary advances. The book pounds the last nails into the coffin of the entire alien invasion cover story and reveals the truth that has been in front of us for almost 70 years. He also reveals the cynical way that the alien cover story has been used by well-known UFO researchers who must have seen the truth at some point in their investigations - but they chose to ignore it.
Farrell won't make any friends with this book - outside those of us who want the truth.
Thanks Joseph. Can't wait until the next book!

I was blown away by the thesis and scholarship in this massive book! The arguments and references are air tight, and is by far the best work I have ever seen on a topic with so many twists, turns and dead ends! You will not be disappointed -- Farrell leads you by the hand through all the possible permutations to a stunning conclusion! Buy it!

Joseph Farrell has succeeded in explaining his theory that the Roswell incident may very well been a product of German technology - instead of the long-held belief that the disc was manufactured off-planet. The question remains is whether the 'bodies' were really ET or deformed humans. In this regard, Farrell clearly implies that premise remains an open question.
"Roswell and the Reich" will certainly interest those intrigued with the incredible Nazi technology that was light-years ahead of the so-called advanced technological societies post WWII. It is no wonder why certain American military personnel brought over ardent Nazi scientists ('Operation Paperclip') to develop the space program and covert intelligence programs. Apparently after the death of Roosevelt (who opposed the idea of Nazi scientists in the U.S.), Truman gave his approval - this falls along with the line "Our Germans are better than the Russian Germans". It will be well to remember the Russians also received their fare share of German Nazi scientists.
Farrell is a well-educated physicist and writes quite well yet can get quite technical and detailed. Still, the 'lay' person can understand this book even with a minimal science background. Highly recommended for Farrell fans.

Honestly, I can't say if Dr. Farrell is correct in the "third scenario". I love the guy, he has cuhoonies and is EXTREMELY well referenced and believable. He took the research of Igor Witkowski and Nick Cook (among hundreds of others) to a new height, totally stellar.
This book explores the possibility that what crashed was in fact, postwar NAZI. The only reason it doesn't totally gel with me is that it takes place right there in the Southwestern US where we were no doubt developing our own post-war aerospace and munitions industries (along with..OIL). It always seemed reasonable to me, and crystallized in my head that we were just testing something (retrieved from our German buddies, DANKE) and it simply crashed.
That said, Dr. Joseph Farrell has indeed made me re-think that scenario quite a bit with this work. He's a wonderful author, his books are like bush-whacking through all the BS. Nothing in any of them that DRAGS on for no reason (like so many confused authors). Get AT the info and make up your own mind with anything by Dr. Farrell.
